The farm campsite
"Capo Scalambri"
is in the southern coast of Sicily, facing the sea near the
town Punta Secca. In the nearby, it was played the thriller
movie "Detective Montalbano".
The Farm "Capo Scalambri" lies at the foot of the
Iblei Mountains. It provides the peace and the quite of a
park in the heart of the Mediaterranean: dunes, Mediterranean
bushes, pine-groves and the crystal water of the Mediterranean
sea. |

| The mild climate and the sea
breeze blowing from Africa will make your stay at the campsite
more pleasant.The farm is only 5 km far from the town Santa
Croce Camerina and is 5 ha. wide. In the greenhouses of the
farm we rear the vegetables: tomates, aubergines, zucchini,
peppers,cucumbers, muskmelons and watermelons. |

Our guests can taste these vegetables,
when they are ripe. The olive trees make the place really
amazing.
Few kilometers far from the campsite, our guests can visit
archeological sites that go back to the IV. and V. centuries.
It's worth also a vist of the baroque and Neo-classic monuments.
in the near towns Ragusa, Modica,
Noto, Vittoria and Comiso. |

Other interesting and amazing places
are: the Castle of Donnafugata,
the mosaics of the "Villa Romana del Casale"
in Piazza Armerina,
the Nature Park Vendicari,
the cities Agrigento
and Syrakuse, La Cava d'Ispica,
La Vallata di Cava Grande, Mount Etna and the Alcantara
Gorges.
In the nearby, the archeological sites of the two
towns Kaukana and Kamarina
are tourist attractions for those people that are
interested in the museums and necropolis of the Greek
and Roman periods. Not to forget the "Torri Saracene"
and the ethnographical museums that are in Vittoria
and Santa Croce Camerina, two nearby towns.
You may also discover the nearby outdoor activities
and attractions such as inns, ice-cream shops, discos
and leisure parks with swimming pools and waterslides.
You can also
enjoy the feasts and folklore in the near towns, so
that your stay will be unforgettable.
